I am best known as an Impressionist-Colorist.

I took up the brush in ’92 following an extensive career in Hawaii advertising and printing.  Over the ensuing decades I have expanded my oeuvre to include oils, acrylics and mixed media and have produced an extensive, diverse body of work.

Over the years, my art has received numerous awards including several “Best of Show”.  I am very active in the Hawaii art community and hold memberships in the Association of Hawaii Artists, Windward Artists Guild (past president) and the American Impressionists Society.

Much of my work is in various Hawaii galleries including Cedar Street Galleries in Honolulu and Island Treasures in Kailua, plus corporate collections and private collections in Hawaii, Mainland U.S. and internationally.

My art work has been chosen as set props in TV shows including Hawaii 5-0 and movies including The Descendants starring George Clooney.

I often say, “Art makes my life complete.  I’m addicted to the image making process.  While painting I’m in a very special magical zone!!”
